hi my robo girl just gave birth to 5 little robos, and i noticed that one day she kept all in one plane in nest and after one day she moved three kids to another nest she and he made, and left two kids in older nest but she comes bach regulary and checks them...is this normal? what should i do if it is not normal? | |

i can not answer, sorry, but what ever you do don't touch babies or they will be rejected and possibly killed. But all i can say is , if the mum is looking after both nests, just leave be. | |

Don't worry, if she goes to them thats a good sign. Like mentioned,don't touch them. Most likely she will transfer all of them soon. Just keep her stress free and don't mess with the cage except for food and water. Hope that helps! | |

no it is her first, and i left male kept inside all the time, i read sowhere that male must be with female during raising their babys | |

Hi, the male doesn't need to be with the female....Just after birth, It's best to take the male out straight away-Not even necessarily after birth maybe a day or so before because the female is most fertile and there's a good chance that the female will get pregnant again! If you leave the male in, he will help her by bringing her food etc. If it turns out that she is pregnant again, take the male out a few days before because; it is bad for the female to have 3/4/5 litters in a row, Speak soon, James. | |
